![]() ![]() Well said, and worth an upmod for your efforts. What big business fails to succeed at, pirating websites have been good at. Therefore, do not allow users to download a piece of software they have not registered, isn't that the point of registering your software (besides voluntarily given your information out to be spammed or junk mailed). If you have a software company and you asks users to register, use the profiling system accordingly. Everytime I purchase software I spend more time screwing around with the serial number and registration aspect, than I do actually using the software it seems. This is the last time I ever purchase software again in my life. ![]() I opened up Toast and boom, it asks me for a serial key. After downloading the 225MB file, I unzipped it and installed it. Apparently I downloaded the incorrect licensed version because I was in a hurry to make this ISO for a customer. Now with a GOOD software company, they should have a list of the software I am able to download with the products I purchased. As a registered user I did, then I was given options to download. I got sent to the Roxio website and was asked to login in. The software prompted me to download an update that was available. Today, I started toast up for the first time in probably a year to make an ISO. This is what is annoying, when I purchase software I am given a CD Key, I register my product, and I am allowed to download updates. I am sure there are other ways with built in Mac Software like Disk Utility of something to make ISOs from a CD/DVD, but I actualy liked Toast Titanium.
